| I believe you stabilize by removing regulations that don?t deal with health or safety that will allow businesses to grow reinvest and hire more employees. We have to look at the states retirement program across-the-board it is unsustainable. We have to reform that we have to go and utilize some form of tax reform. We start by building our existing industries to increase our tax base and then find sustainable new sources of income through new and existing companies. I do believe that some state employees salaries need to be reduced but I can?t say all need to be reduced. | |||

| The question regarding a minor being tried as an adult for a violent crime is very ambiguous. A violent crime is a broad term. If someone was charged with aggravated battery that different than being charged with murder or attempted murder. I would be in favor of trying minors that are accused of murder or attempted murder as adults. I think that we need to really define the term violence before we just make a state that any minor accused of a violent crime be tried as an adult. I would want it more defined. | |||

| Top legislative priority is to help our businesses and industries expand. I believe the most efficient and effective method is by removing regulations that do not relate to health or safety and prevent the growth of said business. This takes no funding and the expected growth can be reinvested into these industries to provide more jobs and increase revenue for the company and the state. In turn the people being hired now move to Louisiana, pay taxes and buy homes. This would increase property sales and more funding for schools through property tax. | |||
